The 4th Estate

As we approach another election that promises to change nothing, the media will do their best to keep us informed every step of the way. Charley Reese reminded us to "View and read everything with skepticism. Remember that truth and information are not synonyms". However, what do you do when the information is not even printed?

For example, on December 8th, 1999 in the Circuit Court of Shelby County, Tennessee, the Government of the United States was ordered to pay $100(the total cost of funeral expenses) for its part in the assassination of Martin Luther King. You see, a jury found that the J. Edgar Hoover, the FBI, Richard Helms, the CIA, the military and the local Memphis police planned and executed the assassination of MLK.

No major news outlet found this story important enough to cover. So, as you watch election banter mixed with a Kobe Bryant/Scott Peterson update, rest assured the government will continue to murder whoever it wants and count on corporate media to make sure nobody hears about it.
